Biographical Sketch
Aubrey Edward Golden is a prominent lawyer, mediator, and author from Toronto, Ontario. Golden attended the University of Toronto and Osgoode Hall Law School, and was called to the Bar in 1959. He co-authored the 1971 book "Rumours of war". He was made a Queen's Counsel in 1980, and in 1990 attained a Master of Laws degree from York University.

Scope and Content
Fonds consists of reproductions of records documenting the life and legal career of Aubrey Golden, particularly his activities as a lawyer in social justice and civil liberties cases.

Scope and Content
Series consists of photocopies of three scrapbooks, and a file of loose clippings, maintained by Aubrey Golden. The scrapbooks contain media clippings dating from 1957 to 1994, largely relating to legal cases in which Golden acted as counsel. The scrapbooks also include articles authored by Golden, clippings on Golden while a law student at Osgoode Hall Law School, and clippings regarding his book, "Rumours of war".
