Administrative History
Law firm Fraser and Beatty, located in Toronto, came into formation in 1928, headed by partners Percy Wood Beatty and William Kaspar Fraser. The first predecessor firm was formed by John Willoughby Crawford, who opened a law office in Toronto in 1839 and was joined by Henry Sherwood. That law firm evolved through the years in the following partnerships:
