Biographical Sketch
Thomas Holden was married to Mary Elizabeth Holden, and together they had at least one child, John Bell Holden. Thomas Holden earned a degree from Victoria University in 1860, the same year he was admitted as a student-at-law by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Holden was called to the Bar in 1863, following which he practiced law in Belleville and was appointed police magistrate there in 1880. Holden died sometime between 1880 and 1885.
