Biographical Sketch
John Walter McNab was born on May 4th, 1914, in Walkerton, Ontario, the son of lawyer Alexander Eugene McNab. He was admitted to Osgoode Hall Law School in September 1932, and was called to the Bar in 1937. McNab completed his articles in Walkerton at the law firm McNab & McNab with his older brother, Alexander Joseph McNab, and continued to practise in the area for the rest of his career. John Walter McNab died on July 1st, 1979.

Fonds consists of administrative records created and accumulated by John Walter McNab. These records, correspondence and financial accounts, pertain to McNab's law practice, his income and his office and personal expenditures.
