Biographical Sketch
John Franklin Reesor was born on December 3rd, 1917, in Lindsay, Ontario. He attended the University of Toronto, where he graduated with a B.A. degree in 1940. Reesor enrolled at Osgoode Hall Law School, and was called to the Bar in 1943. Reesor served as an R.C.A.F. pilot during the Second World War, and was married in 1944. Reesor practiced law in Hamilton, Ontario, for over fifty years. He was appointed a Queen's Counsel in 1959. Reesor served as President of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, The Rotary Club of Hamilton, The Hamilton Advisory Board of The Salvation Army, and as an elder of Central Presbyterian Church. Reesor died on July 4th, 2009.

Collection consists of a Crown land grant issued by the Province of Upper Canada.
