Examination Software with Sample Questions (Sample Examination)

Below is a link to the examination software with sample questions for the prior licensing year.

For the 2021-22 licensing year, the Law Society will be posting new links in the coming weeks. Candidates who have not completed their licensing examinations will receive a message in their online accounts when links applicable to the 2021-22 licensing year are available.

Use the sample examination to become familiar with how the online examination software works including navigation within the examination and features of the software such as top menu tabs, highlight/strikeout, question review, question navigation, bookmarking, note-taking and the calculator.

2020-21 Sample Examination

Correct answers to the items that appear in the software are set out below:

Solicitor

  1. The voting shareholders.
  2. Gertrude’s personal care wishes.
  3. Complete her obligations.
  4. No, because there is a conflict of interest.
  5. Where the seller’s real property is located.
  6. Mrs. Edwards only.
